Elaine Calderon practices exclusively in the area of U.S. immigration and nationality law and obtained a majority of her practical experience with the New York headquarters of a leading global corporate immigration practice. She counseled human resource managers in a variety of industries and professions on nonimmigrant classifications such as specialized workers, intracompany transferees, aliens of extraordinary ability, and performers. Elaine has also counseled citizens of Australia, Mexico, and Canada on immigration benefits available pursuant to E-3 and TN status respectively. She has advised on nonimmigrant benefits available to employees of qualifying non-profit organizations, compliance issues concerning work authorization, portability of immigration benefits, and permanent residency.
Elaine provides legal assistance to foreign nationals on matters regarding student visas, family based immigration, and naturalization. She also advises individuals on visa applications for submission to U.S. embassies and consulates throughout the world.
